Spend Saturday, February 22nd, 2003 enjoying our back yard, cache like crazy, and stop in for lunch on us! Come in, get warm, visit with fellow Geo-cachers.
All Geo-cachers locating the cache box and signing the log will be treated to The Best Cheeseburger Known To Man. Please add non-perishable food items to the cache box, which will be donated to the local food pantry. (This is, after all, The Best Cheeseburger Known To Man!!!!)
Locate the cache box inside the facility located at the listed co-ordinates. Say “Hi” to Joe if you see him.
Lunch will be available from 11:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. The location is a family friendly tavern known countywide for The Best Cheeseburger Known To Man! Kids are welcome. Atmosphere is casual, come as you are. Please post a log and let us know how many are coming.
The are currently 23 active caches in Kendall County within a 10 mile radius of the event. Six new, permanent caches will be placed for the event plus you can log the event. That makes a possible 30 caches!!!!!
Cache Listings will be available at the luncheon if desired and posted on the website prior to the event.
Event update!!!!
As this event evolves, we’ve decided to add PRIZES!!! and MORE CACHES!!!
There will now be at least 12 NEW CACHES placed just for this event. They will, however, remain after the event and become permanent local area caches.
Arrive promptly at 11:30 and be included in the prize hunt. At 11:45, sheets with four unpublished caches will be handed out. Eight caches containing a prize card will also be available by lottery. Cache like crazy and be back by 2:00 PM when all prizes will be awarded. Remember, everyone still gets The Best Cheeseburger Know to Man!!
If you’re not able to make the lottery handout, don’t despair. Hang out with TwoCampers and Bspeng and stay warm. We’re not all crazy!!!

2/19/03 Latest Evolution News!!!!
We are up to at least 15 new caches for this event. The Prize Hunt will be changed slightly. When you arrive at the event location, you will be given a sheet with all 15(or more) cache locations with the accurate co-ordinates.
Somewhere in the 15 (or more) caches will be distributed 8 prize cards. Please retrieve only one prize card per team. Cache as much or as little as you like. The burgers will be available any time from 11:30 A.M until whenever we wrap up the event.
Prizes will be awarded at 2:00 P.M. Any prizes remaining unclaimed after the 2:00 P.M. awards will be distributed by lottery at the conclusion of the event.
There will be a laptop computer available running EZ GPS to download waypoints. Bring your own data cable. We suggest you download any .prc or .gpx files you may want. The online co-ordinates will be in-accurate but we will provide the correct co-ordinates at the begining of the event.
