This cache is an ammo box and is a replacement of my Skagit Delta
#1 (my first cache). It is only in the same general area. In this
new location I once sat in this spot for 45 minutes and watched
thousands of Snow Geese fly north just a matter of a few feet over
my head.
For the scenic but somewhat longer route (about 3.5 miles round
trip) Park at N48 19.501' W122 22.456'. Enter hike at N48 19.484'
W122 22.429'.
For the shorter route (2.5 miles round trip) Park at N48 19.505'
W122 22.684'
I highly recommend the scenic route. You can also combine the
two routes and make it a circuit. You will have the opportunity to
see hawks, owls, seals, and all manner of bird and wildlife.
