A pleasant, short (< 8 mi) drive on a good 2WD dirt road will lead you to 'McCache', nestled high in a beautiful (and mostly alive) pine forest. Take Poland Rd SW (MP 275). At a 'Y' 1.5 miles in, go uphill.
This is a THEMED CACHE.
Ya know how many caches 'devolve' into containers of broken toys (commonly called 'McToys') or used golf balls? Well, HERE IS THE CACHE FOR YOU! Just what you have been looking for -- a completely devolved cache where you MUST exchange toys!!! PLEASE stick with the theme.....if you don't have a 'McToy' (any brand) may I suggest you patronize one of the many fine fast-food eating establishments before heading to the hills, and buy a kid's meal? (Burger King even has BIG kid's meals....more food!) or bring one from another cache.
Of course, if you’re not a kid’s meal fan, but want to visit the pines, be sure to come by anyway and do “Took nothing, left nothing” routine.
Please log in the cache AND online which toy(s) you took and a brief but accurate description of whatever toy(s) you leave....be creative! Tell us what the toy looks like and what it does! Now there is no longer any need to throw the silly thing in the cache and log "took carabiner, left....uh...something" BE PROUD of your TOYS!!!
The cache started with some VERY cool McToys, all in good working order. Some may be collector's items someday....
The ammo can contains:
2 (TWO) Jar-Jar Binks (one is a water squirt thing)
Jar-Jar's leader dude (don't know name, also a squirt)
Darth Sith AND his super-flyer thingy (pull the cord and watch him go!)
R2D2 - - WITH Princess Leia inside!! (My favorite)
A wind-up blue dinosaur (he jumps)
Green parrot (his wings flap)
Molly from Sonic in her trash-can car
Green 'Goofy' Car
Pete....on a skateboard, he can hit a bear.
If that list doesn’t make any sense, just ask any kid. They will patiently explain it all to you.
While you are there, any guesses on what the old rusted metal parts are? And the hole/crater?
FYI, just a bit further up the road is a cool residential area. Beyond there, the road becomes 4WD/hi-clearance only, but does connect to four other roads at what is known as Five Points. And don’t forget to visit the Tunneling Poland cache on your way to this one!
Have fun and don't be ashamed of your trades!! (Unless it is a used golf ball.....)
