Although there was permanent residence in Jokioinen already since the 1300's, the development of
the parish is tightly connected to the estate of Jokioinen, established in 1562. The mansion was built
about 200 years ago by governor and major general E.G. von Willebrandt. Your job is to find the the
treasure of von Willebrandt, which is hidden somewhere in the estate of Jokioinen.
The starting coordinates take you in front of an old storehouse with belfry on top of it (Tapulimakasiini).
Close to this point starts the Jokioinen estate's nature trail. The cache is along the nature trail, but
you need to solve a puzzle in order to find it. You must follow the nature trail (about 3,5 km) and
collect all the information needed to count the final coordinates along the trail. Be warned: it may take
time (more than an hour at least) and cause you some work! However, by doing some homework you
might find some pieces of the puzzle even without having to walk the whole trail...
The final coordinates of the treasure are : N 60° 48.ABC and E 023° 28.XYZ

+ the NUMBER of SMALLER WINDOWS (or hatches) on the southern wall of Tapulimakasiini) / 398.

Tämä kätkö vie Jokioisten kunnan historian alkulähteille
Lounais-Hämeeseen. Tämä on samalla Jokioisten ensimmäinen geokätkö.
Vaikka Jokioisilla olikin asutusta jo 1300-luvulta lähtien, on pitäjän varsinainen kehitys sidoksissa
vuonna 1562 perustetun kartanon historiaan. Kartanon päärakennuksen rakennutti 200 vuotta sitten
maaherra ja kenraalikuvernööri E.G. von Willebrandt. Sinun tehtäväsi on löytää von Willebrandtin
aarre, joka on piilotettu jonnekin kartanon tiluksille.
Aloituskoordinaatit vievät kartanon vanhan Tapulimakasiinin eteen. Läheltä alkaa kartanon luontopolku,
jonka varrelta kätkö löytyy. Kätkön löytääkseen on kuitenkin laskettava lopulliset koordinaatit polun
(n. 3,5 km) varrelta löytyvien vihjeiden perusteella. Varoituksen sana: tehtävä vie aikaa (ainakin yli
tunnin) ja teettää töitä! Kotiläksyt tekemällä voi kuitenkin löytää joitakin osia laskutehtäviin ilman,
että koko polkua tarvitsee kävellä läpi...
