Geocache Description:

A tribute to the sacrifices and contributions of the Greatest Generation.

This is 1 of 3 caches that help tell the story of this one-of-a-kind national asset nestled in Middle Tennessee. In addition to On Star (GCE809), the other 2 caches are the Hap’s Buddy (GCE808) cache, and the Hap cache (GC8214). This is a good trip to look, read, and learn… and make the 3 cache tour all on the same day!

Here is your On Star history quiz…

1. What camps were found here, and what years were they active?

2. What center is found here, and when did it open?

3. How many organizations are represented here by their shields and insignias?

4. This tribute was erected by whom, for whom, for what significance, and on what date?

5. This site is located at what intersection?

6. What is the significance of the name of this cache?

The answers to these virtual cache questions are easily found at the cache locations!
