Geocache Description:

Take a walk in the Kettle Moraine, seeking your Wheel of Fortune. The goal is to enjoy the trail, solve the geocaching phrase, email it to me, wait for my reply, then log the cache as a find. The above coordinates is for one of the parking areas.

Please click here to send the Geo-Caching phrase to the "review board". By-passing the review board and clicking on my above profile will result in a huge delay.

Hidden along the trail are 11 containers. Each container has a laminated slip of paper. On the paper is a missing letter clue showing the corresponding place it is used. For example, suppose you found a slip of paper with XXXA XXAXX XXX XXXX. The phrase is four words. Each X represents a missing letter. The first word ends with an A. The second word has an "A" as the third letter. There are no more A's in the phrase. Use the solving area below to write the missing letter in the appropriate space. REPLACE The SLIP OF PAPER IN THE CONTAINER FOR THE NEXT GEOCACHER AND REHIDE THE CONTAINER CAREFULLY.

Go to the next container. Suppose the it contains XXTX XTXXX TXX XXXX. Now you know that the third letter of the first word is a "T". The second letter of the second word is a "T". The first letter of the third word is a "T". Continue finding the containers with other missing letters for the phrase.

The trail is found in the Kettle Moraine. It is child and pet friendly. Only one container is further than 20 feet off of the trail. Most containters are found within 10 feet off of the trail. Bush-wacking isn't necessary! Really! The coordinates for each of the containers is given below. The containers can be found in any order. The goal is to enjoy the trail, solve the geocaching phrase, email it to me, wait for my reply, then log the cache as a find. I know, I know, it's not immediate gratification as logging a find immediately.

One of the containers is a little larger than the others. In this container is a pen/pencil and a log just large enough for the date and team name. This log is a formaility. Finding this container does NOT mean you are done. The goal, once again, is to enjoy the trail, solve the phrase and email it to me before logging a find. Logging the find before the phrase is verified is a huge NO, NO. Small Print follows: I will delete the unverified finder.

A savy Wheel-Watching-Geocacher does not have to find all of the containers to solve the geocaching phrase. Please find the log-in container, though.

Use the following squares to help solve the phrase.

There are three possibilities for parking. All areas are little more than a wide place in the road.

You will find barbed wire and woven wire along the trail. The trail is clearly marked. Please stay on the trail until the final 15-20 feet.

REPLACE The SLIP OF PAPER IN THE CONTAINER FOR THE NEXT GEOCACHER AND REHIDE THE CONTAINER CAREFULLY. Each container has a number of the same slips, just in case one gets misplaced.
