Geocache Description:

View Handicap Ratings for GCG1Z3

Located in a beautiful area for hiking and X-country skiing.

*** Come join the fun at Wisconsin Geocaching Association HERE *** Please park at N42 49.318 / W88 36.043 This is a State Forest area which requires a state park sticker (daily is $5 or yearly is $20). During the summer months these trails are available for hiking, etc. During the winter this is an excellent cross-country skiing area. This cache should probably not be sought out during the winter if there's snow on the ground, though. The cache container is a camo job containing a log book w/ pencils and pencil sharpener, a few of the usual type of trade items, and a bunch of little shaped erasers. If you would like to take an eraser for each member of your group in addition to your trades, then go right ahead. The container is not a real big one, so please bring a smallish trade. Please enjoy the area as it is truly beautiful. Note: Before placing this cache, I contacted the superintendant of the Kettle Moraine Southern Unit and received his permission to place a cache here. Please respect the area. Let's keep geocaching a hobby that the state will continue to "approve" of. NOTE: No pets here when there's snow on the ground--sorry!
