Geocache Description:

Second of a serie of three by The Plank Team (Rotraut and The Plank), do not forget your pen light!

You can access the cache area near Marathi by car or by public transport (bus stop 'Ancient Quarries'). Take the marble road, have a look at the marble mines (Hell), but take care entering the mines. After the mine-adventure, hunt for the cache and enjoy the marvelous landscape. After the cache hunt give Aghios Minas Monastery (Heaven) a visit. Ring the door bell and/or shout out for Minas, the local let us call him manager. You can be sure to really pass some highly interesting moments with him. Please give him Rotraut's and Wolfgang's regards from Vienna, Austria.

While hunting and hiking you should take in consideration the following:
- in the mines the terrain is very slippery, so be careful
- take some time to accomodate your eyes to the darkness before entering the mines
- wear at least closed shoes and socks (small thorny bushes around!)
- please respect the environment and buildings

The Coffee Box initially contained
- logbook and pencil (please do not remove)
- small bottle of pear brandy from Austria
- 2 glass crystals from my kitchen chandelier
- wooden bunny
- imbus wrench
- amphibious bathers

We wish you a successfull hunt as well as a splendid day between Heaven and Hell.
