Geocache Description:

This series of four caches, all located within beautiful Ellison Bay County Park, were placed with the intent of providing a fun hunt for every kind of cacher, from families with little hunters along to hard core bushwackers. The coordinates listed above are for the parking area. Read on for instructions for finding the first cache.

*** Be sure to visit the Wisconsin Geocaching Association website! ***

These caches are meant to be hunted in order, so you will have to find the first one to recieve the coordinates to the second, and so on. Each container includes a log book and room for some goodies, so feel free to hunt as many as you wish and log each one as a seperate find. If you find anything in the containers that you want to swap out, please bear in mind that each consecutive cache will be less likely to be hunted by children and trade accordingly.

And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE replace each cache EXACTLY as you found it!

- THE MARK OF ZORRO -

> Difficulty:1 / Terrain:1 <

The first cache is along a nice hard packed trail that is suitable for strollers.

Stand on the main trail at these coordinates: N45*15.128 W87*06.383 and face south. Now tilt your head to the right, like a curious puppy, and look for the mark of Zorro. When you find it, stand under Zorro facing the direction he is pointing (west) and walk 100 feet. Search the area and find the cache, then look inside the lid for the coordinates of the next leg of your journey. Good Luck!

- DEAD END -

> Difficulty:2 / Terrain:2 <

If you decide to go on to the next cache you should be able to find a decent trail that leads most of the way to the waypoint.

~

- WAY DOWN THERE -

> Difficulty:3 / Terrain:3 <

Once you have the coordinates for the third cache you will be heading into the bush. About halfway to the waypoint you will encounter an interesting obstacle that will be half the challenge to finding this cache. I don't recommend bringing small children along for this hunt.

~

- YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING -

> Difficulty:4 / Terrain:4 <

The last cache hunt is, of course, the most challenging of all. If you are in moderately good shape and reasonably agile, you should have no trouble getting to the cache, but please use common sense and don't attempt it if doing so appears beyond your abilities. Because of the thick summertime foliage at the cache, We took the reading for this last one out on the beach. Please stand at the coordinates and walk 20-30 feet straight inland to find the cache.

Note on the final cache: There are areas around the hiding spot that may put you in unnecessary danger. If you find yourself thinking that your life is in peril, you are probobly searching in the wrong spot.

~

Best of luck and Happy Hunting!
