Geocache Description:

On a gravel road sidestep north along I-80 between exits 29 and 34. Use only exit 29 if you want to minimize time on the gravel.

This cache is near the area of the intersection of I-80 and I-29 east of Omaha.

With respect to I-80, it is easily accessible from either direction, is along a road that is parallel to, and visible from the interstate. Look to see if anyone is visiting the cache as you pass by.

I picked this place because there were no other caches in the area, it had good travel access (for geocachers and travel bugs), and lent itself well to a humorous name. You'll probably need a better map than the Iowa highway roadmap to figure it out. When you get to the cache, expect to have to either climb a short distance or bushwhack during the growing season.

There is an ice cream stop at the exit to the east. I use it whenever I come home from that direction.

The cache is a narrow ammo can -standard paint, with a geocaching sticker on the side. The original contents are:

  • Cardboard Flight Computer
  • "Billy Bob" teeth
  • Air Force Belt Buckle SR-71/F-16s
  • Two patches
  • Two CD's
  • A spare garbage bag, small ziploc bags, and a binder clip.
  • Blue dino droid toy
  • Travel Bug - SURFER

This is my first cache hide, so let me know what you think. Thanks for visiting.
