Geocache Description:

This is the twelfth cache placed in a series of caches highlighting the San José Public Library system. I will place a few caches every week until the opening of the new MLK Main Library, when this series will have its grand finale.


Alviso provides basic information resources and services to the diverse communities of San José and fulfills their information needs in such areas as survival information for everyday life, recreational needs, and lifelong learning.

The cache is a small prescription pill bottle, containing only geocaching note and log. Bring your own pen or pencil! Tiny trade items might be do-able.

This cache can be quite visible if it is hidden improperly. Please hide it at least as well as you found it.
