Gotta Go West? Multi-cache
hiddenrock: I stopped by to check on the final this evening. It's gone. In order to do my part to cut down on everyone's gas consumption I've decided not to replace this one, and also its twin on the other side. These rest areas are now open for someone else to place a cache.

Not a typical rest area grab and go cache.
This is a multi-cache. At the starting point you will get information that will lead you to stage 2. At stage 2 you will be looking for a metal washer with the co-ordinates to the final cache stamped on it.
I feel like I should give some kind of warning for this cache, but the only thing I could come up with is that caches in your GPS device may be further away than they appear.
The posted co-ordinates take you to an I-4 Westbound Rest Area. It is a typical rest area with a picnic area, vending machines, restrooms and nighttime security.
At the starting co-ordinates you will find a survey marker. What is the number below the triangle on the metal disk. The micro can be found using the last three digits of this number:
Add the three digits together, divide the result by 2, then add 1. This is your base number.
For North minutes, multiply the base number by 13, then subtract 1, then divide the result by 1000 and then add 42.
For West minutes, multiply the base number by 92, then divide the result by 1000 and then add 23.
You may also want to find my “Gotta Go East?” cache, which is located not too far from here.
Thanks to Geolytical for creating the stamped metal washers for stage 2.
