This virtual cache is located on the historic Plymouth waterfront, less than a mile from both the Mayflower and Plymouth Rock. The area has park benches and a great view of Plymouth Harbor, so bring a lunch or enjoy one of the many wonderful restaurants that are nearby.
This monument was placed shortly after the tragic death of WH's cousin. He was killed when his leg became entangled in a rope while lobstering in early 1980. The monument was donated by friends and family as a way of honoring all the people who have lived and died on the sea.
To log this cache, please e-mail Wreck Diver with the answers to the following questions:
1.) What is the person's name on the front of the memorial?
2.) What does the engraving on the BACK of the monument say?
3.) What are the two nautical objects to the left and right of the monument?
4.) When you have the answers, do not send them by Private Message.
