This cache has been archived.

B3Fiend: Can't figure out how this one has managed to be destroyed by muggles twice now. Hidden where it was found, it is invisible from the trail.

Geocache Description:

New N. Minnesota River Trail
Mankato, MN

Brand-new trail constructed in the summer of 2003 connecting the Sakatah State trail to the Mankato Flood Wall trail - which also connects to the Red Jacket Trail. Primitive Trailhead parking at N44.11.519|W094.00.453.

The key to easily finding the cache is finding the primitive trailhead on the north side of Hwy 14. (See coords above). The "No Trespassing" signs near the trailhead refer to the neighboring property. Otherwise, you've got a LONG walk or bike ride from the other trailheads. If you do feel like biking, use any trailhead in Mankato - This is a great trail to bring your bike on.

Cache Container: camo-painted 1/2 gallon jug.(see uploaded pic)

Cache is located *very* close to trail, and is accessible all year long. Please re-hide carefully, as the cache site can be easily seen from the trail. There is treacherous low-lying barbed wire in the woods. Stay on the path until you get within 50' of the cache to avoid it.

Happy Hunting!
