; This cache has just been replaced and moved from its original locale. But it is still in the same area. This cache was made famous when 2 college kids from USCA was hunting for it one day. They found bones of a body instead. A mystery was solved that day and a family now knows answers.
To make the walk short and easy, park at 33'33.387 81'45.181. Maps are available at the entrances. Be mindful of horse traffic and keep to the trails. This is a standard ammo box located in The Cliffs of Cache in Hitchcock Woods, Aiken, SC. The woods consist of a maze of interconnecting trails stretching over twenty miles; located within a 2000-acre forest. It is a unique forest in the midst of an urban area. Visit their website: www.hitchcockwoods.com The trails are clear and easy to walk. The woods are open daily to the public during daylight hours. Only pedestrian and equistrian traffic are allowed, so leave your bikes at home. There are of course a few trails that will get you there. If you grab the map I'm sure you can figure out where you are headed by the title of the cache. Once you get there the cache is located off the trail, down at the bottom. We have moved this cache from its original position due to the recent theft. Still in the same area.
