This is located in Rodgers Park. The trails may be slippery when wet. It's a nice walk through the woods.
There are 2 parking areas near trails here. One is located here: N 42° 11.958 W 092° 04.697. Please make sure not to disturb the campers that are there. Please obey propery lines. You do not need to go onto private property.
There is a well groomed dirt hiking trail NE of this shelter at this spot. This is where the adventure begins. Walk along the trails until your near the dam at the other end of the lake. There are trails on both sides of the lake to walk on and enjoy. Enjoy the cache.
Note: I removed the puzzle aspect of this cache as some of the signs that were part of the solution are now gone.
The orginial contents of the cache are as follows:
One of my signature items (airplane)
Extra Pencils and notebooks (take some if needed - but not the log, of course)
2 Blue plastic elephants
Unregistered TB Dog Tag.
Enjoy - There are 2 other nice finds out in this park.
