Take a Short Walk on a Long Pier Webcam Cache

To log this cache, you will need at least two members of your team. Go to the listed coordinates. Look around until you find the eye in the sky looking at you. Use your cell phone to call the other member of your team who will need to have access to a computer that can access The Beach Pierside Web Cam or type in http://www.piersidegrill.com/live_web_cam_launch.html

Follow the directions - Click on the link and use the login and password of guest. Oh, and this works best in Internet Explorer - not so well in Firefox.

Have your computer team member click on “Snapshot” to take a picture. Then right click on the image and save the image to their computer.

Once the image is saved have them e-mail it to you. To log this cache, post your log and image with GPS in hand.

Logs without images will be deleted. If the camera is down, I'm sorry... I have no control over it.

The webcam is very fragile and sometimes, it's just not working... Thank Hurricane Charley for that.

Parking
Parking can be very difficult here. Most legal parking is 0.75/hr or there are pay to park lots that range $5-10 for the whole day. The police are strict so don't leave an illegally parked car unattended - you have been warned!
