Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the above location.

Little Johnny is back! Since his last stroll into the sunset, Little Johnny has become interested in astronomy. He has been reading a lot about the upcoming Transit of Venus and how it occurs in pairs every 105 to 122 years. The last time anyone witnessed the Transit was in 1882. In his life he will have two opportunities to witness this event, the first on June 8, 2004 and again eight years later on June 6, 2012. The next opportuntity after that won't be until 2117.

Not wanting to miss his first chance he decides to watch the transit from a primo spot that he knows about exactly 2 miles from his aunt's home (coordinates above.) Coincidentally, this location lies on the line (rounded to the nearest whole degree) from his aunt's house to the spot at which the transit first becomes visible in this area. In commemoration of the event Little Johnny has decided to leave a microcache at his secret "observatory." Can you find the secret spot and be the first to find Little Johnny's latest cache?
