Geocache Description:

This mystery takes you to see the Department of Engineering Physics and Mathematics at HUT campus. This is also the last item in the collection of 12 HUT departments.

To calculate the location of the stash, you need to find an answer to some fairly simple questions related to mathematics and physics.
  • Find a solution for the problem an+bn=cn, where a, b, c and n are natural numbers. Let the largest possible value of n be X.
  • Two skydivers 'a' and 'b' jump from an airplane at 12000 ft. They have similar parachutes and they open them at the same altitude (2500 ft). Jumper 'a' weighs in at 350 pounds and jumper 'b' at 200 pounds. The total time it takes for the jumpers to fall to ground is A and B seconds, respectively. Which of the following is correct?
    • A < B (Y=7)
    • A > B (Y=6)
    • A = B (Y=5)
  • Take a sequence of natural numbers of 1, 2, 3, ... , 600. Let the sum of all these numbers be Z.

The cache is a plastic box, a bit larger than a film container. It is hidden in:

N 60° 11.(Y*(20*X+1))
E 24° 49.(Z/(100*X))

Reviewer note: This cache is exceptionally close to another cache, but there's no risk of confusion with them.
