How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
PLEASE NOTE: Coordinates have been changed as of 1/22/06. Due to work going on in the fairly immediate area, I moved the cache to another location as reflected in the current coordinates. This cache is placed in a beautiful state park on the coast of Maine - be sure to plan for some time to walk around the park and enjoy the location. Please note that there is a $3.00 entrance fee (per person). The day I placed the cache it was gorgeous - so much so that I didn't want to leave! THIS CACHE HAS A MISSION – to have an item from each state pass through it. Criteria for the items and the cache... ...the name of the state be obvious on the item ...the item be small enough to fit in the container ...you only take something if you leave something ...you log your visit in the log book ...you log on the state list if you are leaving an item for a state that hasn’t been accounted for To start the challenge, I have placed the following items in the cache... ...playing cards (Arizona, Arkansas, Maine) ...post cards (Maine) ...Rain Forest Cafe Travel Bug (New Jersey) ...Geocoin (California) ...key ring (Ohio) ...shot glass (Illinois) ...magnets (North Carolina, Maine) ...state quarters (Louisiana, South Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, Missouri) Enjoy!!
