There is a legend that pirates hid treasure along the Tallahatchie River.b THE MAP IS NOT AT THE LISTED COORDS. YOU HAVE TO FIND THE MAP. its a treasure hunt after all.
First of all the coords above are wrong, it wouldnt be very good hiding if they published the coords to it. To find this cache you have to find a map that will lead you to the treasure.
a few days after this cache was posted some children drowned in the river. more info can be found here: http://georadio.org/geocaching/drowning.txt
the old train bridge has a whirlpool downstream of it and can be dangerous. this bridge is marked on the map, please stay away from it. you do not have to go anywhere near this bridge and there is a much easier way to get to the cache. as with all caches please use caution and judgement before attempting this cache. most of the time there isnt enough water in the river to float down it, but after it has been raining it can be very dangerous. also you dont ever have to get wet to find this cache, our new mini poodle checked on it with me the other day, and he never got wet or stuck, just bring a good sso.
