Hertfordshire County Council spent £85,000 on these
structures, which were supposed to be located either side of the
High Street at either end of Berkhamsted Town Centre. Dacorum
Borough Council refused to grant planning permission for them to be
placed on their intended sites. Since 1995, they have adorned their
current location.
Extreme care must be taken when approaching the cache site as
you will need to cross a very busy road section!
As there is no pencil/pen in this micro, you
must bring your own. Also the container is quite stiff to open,
however there is a small indent on one side to assist.
Interesting, although you will be at a busy location, nobody
should pay you a blind bit of notice!
It is vital that you make sure the cache is put back exactly
where you found it!
