LinseyG: Had a long hard think and it's time to archive as it's disapearing too often.

"The death is announced of Sir William Schwenck Gilbert, the famous writer of comedy and comic opera, at the age of 75 years. Death occurred from heart failure while bathing.
Sir W.S. Gilbert, who had spent the day in London, returned to Harrowweald in the afternoon. A few minutes later friends found him lying dead in an open-air swimming bath in the grounds of his house, Grimsdyke, where he was teaching two children to swim."

DON'T SUFFER A SIMILAR FATE AS YOU SEARCH FOR THIS CACHE!

For a cache and pint however, a commended country pub "The Case is Altered" is adjacent to the parking and viewpoint. It has a garden with kid's playgrounds and serves decent beers.

The cache is a 330ml camoed plastic beaker.

Recommended parking for this and the other three Grim’s caches is located at 51°37.228'N, 0°20.968'W. From here on a clear day one can see the City of London.
