Kätkö sijaitsee Tourujoen läheisyydessä, Jyväskylässä.
The cache is located near the Tourujoki river in Jyväskylä.
Tämä kätkö vie sinut tutustumaan Tourujokeen, joka on yksi Jyväskylän tuntomerkeistä. Aikoinaan Tourujoki muodosti Jyväskylän kaupungin itäisen rajan. Joen ollessa luonnontilassa siinä oli 7 putousta, joista kuitenkin ensimmäinen ja neljäs olivat niin mitättömiä ettei niistä yksinään ollut sanottavaa hyötyä. Tourujoen kosket houkuttelivat yrittäjiä. Itäisen haaran viidennen putouksen länsirannalla oli 1850-luvulla 2 kiviparilla varustettu jauho- ja öljymylly ja keskimmäisessä haarassa luumylly. Kaksi jälkimmäistä laitosta joutuivat sittemmin Kangas Oy:n haltuun, kun se osti koskenkin.
Kankaan paperitehdas perustettiin joen varteen 1870-luvun alussa. Ensimmäisiä paperikoneita tehtaassa oli v. 1877 Englannista ostettu paperikone, jolla kokeiltiin silkki- ja savukepaperin valmistusta. Paperitehdas seisoo vielä tänäkin päivänä täydessä toiminnassa Tourujoen varrella.
Tourujoella talvehtii vuosittain lähes tuhatpäinen sorsapopulaatio, joka sekin on nähtävyys sinänsä. Joen varrella sijatsee myös lehdosta muodostuva luonnonsuojelualue, jonka alueella kulkee luontopolku.
Kätkö on mahdollista, mutta hankalahko, löytää myös talvella.
This cache takes you to get familiar with Tourujoki river, one of the landmarks of Jyväskylä. The paper mill next to the river was founded already in the beginning of 1870's and is a big part of Tourujoki's history. Yearly hundreds of ducks spend the winter in the river. There is also a nature preserve in the area and there runs a nature trail in the preserve.
The cache can be found also in the winter (but not easilly).
1) Annetut koordinaatit vievät sinut Tourujoen ylittävien siltojen luo joen yläjuoksulle. Laske ensin toisen sillan rakentamisvuoden yksittäisten numeroiden summa ja sitten toisen sillan rakentamisvuoden yksittäisten numeroiden summa. Kun kerrot saadut summat keskenään, saat luvun K1.

Siltojen pilareiden lukumäärää merkitään A:lla, tätä tarvitset lopuksi kätkön koordinaattien laskemisessa.
1) The given coordinates take you to the bridges over the Tourujoki river in the upper course of the river. Add up first the individual numbers of the building year of one of the bridges and then the individual numbers of the building year of the other one of the bridges. When you multiply the sums together, you get the number marked as K1.

The number of pillars of the bridges is marked as letter A. You will need this to calculate the final coordinates of the cache.

2) Olet nyt toisten Tourujoen siltojen luona. Laske yhteen siltojen rakentamisvuosien yksittäiset numerot ja saat luvun B. Kerro sitten luku B pilareiden lukumäärällä, jolloin saat luvun K2.

2) Now you are next to some other bridges of Tourujoki river. Add up the individual numbers of building years of the bridges and mark the sum with the letter B. Multiply B with the number of pillars of the bridges and then you get the number marked as K2.

3) Olet nyt erään Tourujoen historiaan liittyvän toimijan rakennuksen luona. Laske rakennuksen suurten pyöreiden ikkunoiden lukumäärä. Merkitsemme sitä kirjaimella C, jota tarvitset kätkön koordinaattien laskemisessa.
3) You are now close to a building belonging to a party related to the history of the Tourujoki river. Count up the number of big round windows of the building. The number is marked with letter C.
