Geocache Description:

Free Parking at The Dover (N50.50.839 W000.29.701, open dawn 'til dusk) or for a real challenge start from The Woodman Arms Public House off the A27 at Hammerpot.

In 18th century England, no well-to-do home was complete without a Cabinet of Curiosities. These could be anything from small chests to entire rooms. They contained interesting natural specimens, historical artefacts, puzzles, tricks and anything else that would provoke astonishment and delight from guests to the house.
Usually the cabinets would be compiled by the men of the house and the contents collected during a 'Grand Tour' of Europe and beyond which sons of gentlefolk took to broaden their minds and aid enlightenment before they settled down to marriage.

May we now present you with a cabinet for your own delectation. Though you may have to search a while the contents are a wonder to behold (and all under a quid)! Please take any of the puzzles, tricks or curiosities which take your fancy but please leave something to cause wonderment in other finders.
