Geocache Description:

This is a roadside rest area and historical marker along The Great River Road Scenic Byway (Rt 34). You are looking for a small micro.

Picnic tables are available for lunch and relaxing. The veiw is pleasant overlooking the Mississippi River bottoms. Take time to read about the history of this area along the Great River Road. The Great River Road runs along the Mississippi River which forms the western edge of Illinois.
