Who likes to eat, geocache, and have a ton of fun? If this describes you come on up north to Mason City for a day of fun and caching galore!!! This is an event that is family friendly, and everybody should attend!!!!
NEWBIES!!!! We look forward to you coming!!!!! We will be more than willing to help you out in learning about your gps and more about this addicting sport.
We will be at the Mason City OP which is at the corner of S. Pennsylvania and 1st Street S. The OP for those who have never been to one has great pizza and Italian food. We will be on the first floor in the big room in the back, just ask the waitress where.
Agenda:
Meet at 11:30 am and order food and eat.
After eating we will have a short meeting / Q&A for newbies
I will then explain the afternoon events, and then turn you loose for the event. What could the event be????? HMMMMM you have to come to find out!!!!
Meet at East park for one last activity and draw for prizes!!
I would like to ask that every Geoteam that attends to bring a prize, (of something that you would like to win also) that has a value of $5 - $10. If you like bring more.

Before the event I am going to see if I can get a story about geocaching on KIMT News Channel 3 if you are up in our area. Be watching and I will post a note on here when it will air.
