This cache is near the top of a hill in a picturesque wetlands area. Rated "2" for hilliness; cache is flood-proof, but not necessarily winter- friendly.
This is pretty area being improved by a local Explorer Post as a wetlands development project. Cache is located near the high point of the area to try to eliminate canopy interference,but paths in lower elevations area may rarely be underwater during flood stage.
Lots of interesting flora and fauna here, but no facilities yet. Limited roadside parking available on Salem Road entrance at N43.59.815 W 92.32.178. Area is not well -signed; you might miss it if you blink, but makes for an interesting hike.
Not trail maps yet, but several loop trails exist. Wear boots if you're in to muck, but not necessary to get to the cache.
