While in South East Asia I would dream of being back home in
this tranquil place. It is a great place to swim and lay on a large
rock that has been warmed by the sun. This is one of those
beautiful and remote places that I deem to "just naturally be good
for your soul". You will have to walk into the cache, it is about
1/4 of a mile one way. This 1/4 mile is a "LONG" one because of the
elevation change that is involved in the trip. The parking place is
marked by micro cache "Not Valet Parkin" GCP5NM. The Forest Service
Road sign is missing ( see photo ) where you turn toward the
cache,( UPDATE!! The forest Service has replaced the sign ) so I
set a micro cache "tha' turnin' point" GCP5NE to mark the turn on
to the road to take into the area. Welcome to the CEDAR BLUFF
SWIMMIN' HOLE, enjoy your visit. You are looking for a .30 caliber
amunition can, green in color. JUST HOW BAD IS THE ROAD ? ( UPDATE
!! The road has been reclaimed by the Forest service, Dirt berms
and a beautiful grass cover the old deeply rutted roadway )BE SURE
TO LOOK AT THE PHOTO TITLED "ROAD CONDITIONS". Please remember to
CITO.
