Yet another break on the long road north and south with a historical difference
This cache is located near the remains of the convict road gang house from around the mid 1800's.
All that remains of the house are the walls. I remember as a child passing by these walls thinking that maybe they were embattlements. The road from Richmond used to join the highway near here and the road took the name "Mud Walls Road".
Please take pictures, leave footprints but don't enter the enclosure.
