Preiviiki-Yyterin retkeilyreitti yli 20 kilometriä pitkä. Reitti
on melko helppokulkuinen ja näkymät vaihtelevia: ruovikkoa,
rantaniittyjä, tervaleppälehtoa, mäntymetsää ja dyynejä. Reitin
varrella on useita lintutorneja.

Preiviiki-Yyteri-retkeilyreitti on osa Satakunta-Pirkanmaa-retkeilyreitistöä.
Vaikka retkeilyreitti on melko hyvin merkitty
lapasorsatunnuksin, suosittelemme kartan hankkimista ennen reitille
lähtöä. Karttoja saa esim. kävelykadun Höövelistä.
Reitti kulkee Natura 2000 -alueella. Alueella on lintujen
pesimäaikana rajoituksia - ÄLÄ SIIS POIKKEA KAUAS MERKITYILTÄ
POLUILTA!
Reitin alkuun pääsee linja-autollakin: aikataulut. Preiviikin entisen
koulun tienhaaran kohdalla on pysäkki ja tienhaarassa viitta
lintutornille. Yyteristä takaisin keskustaan voi olla varsinkin
viikonloppuisin hankala päästä linja-autolla, mutta hyvällä
suunnittelulla sekin onnistuu.
Lintutornien lähellä on parkkipaikat - käytä niitä pysäköintiin,
jos olet autolla liikkeellä. Preiviikin reitin alkupään lähin
parkkipaikka on koordinaateissa 61°29.822 N, 021°35.582 I.
Parkkipaikalta on noin 100 metrin kävelymatka hiekkatietä pitkin
polulle, joka johtaa lintutornille.
Monikätkö on kolmeosainen: ensimmäisessä pisteessä täytyy
vihjeiden perusteella selvittää toisen pisteen koordinaatit.
Toisessa pisteessä on kätkö, joka sisältää kolmannen pisteen eli
varsinaisen kätkön koordinaatit.

Preiviiki-Yyteri hiking route is over 20 km long. The route is
fairly easy to walk. There are lots of different types of habitats:
coastal meadows, wetlands, pine woods and dunes. There are several
birdwatching
towers along the route.
The route is fairly well marked with poles (there is a picture
of Northern shoveler in the poles), but we recommend that you get a
map before you go. You can get a map from the tourist
information.
Preiviiki-Yyteri hiking route is part of the Satakunta-Pirkanmaa hiking
trail network.
This area belongs to Natura 2000 network. There are restrictions
when the birds are nesting - so, please, DON'T STRAY FAR FROM
THE MARKED PATHS!
You can get to the beginning of the route by bus. The time tables are only in
Finnish, but you can ask advice in the same place where you get the
map. There is a bus stop near the Preiviiki school. At the bus stop
you can see a road sign to lintutorni = birdwatching tower. It can
be more difficult to get back from Yyteri by bus - so you need to
plan the hike carefully.
There are parking places near the birdwatching towers. Please,
dont't leave your car anywhere else. Coordinates for the parking
place which is nearest to the starting point of Preiviiki-Yyteri
route are 61°29.822 N, 021°35.582 E. There is about 100
metres walk along a dirt road to the path that leads to the
birdwatching tower.
This multi-cache is in three parts: at the first point you solve
the coordinates of the second point. At the second point you will
find the coordinates of the third and last point where the actual
cache box is hidden.
First point is near the birdwatching tower of Preiviiki. The
given coordinates take you to the crossing of paths and there are
signs that show how many kilometres it is to Yyteri (this is a) and
how many kilometres it is to Kaarluoto (this is b).
