Park & Start at N 49-06.789 W 119-40.411 Trail to top is 1km. Some parts are steep however a rest bench awaits you halfway up.
Bring a camera the views are incredible. I am made of brass & I was put here a long time ago before GPS was even dreamt of. Nearby is a small tupper ware container containing a log book & small items. There is some broken glass around. This is a hangout for atv & snowsledders who come to party in the winter.
Kobau was originally destined for an astronomical observatory but the government of the day changed the location to Ontario. However it is still use for astronomers. Visit www.mksp.ca for more info.
I spotted a rare white variant of the black bear family near mile 9 on way home from cache. Luckily I took pictures to prove it.
