An easy hike to the top of the hill on a paved footpath. Path comes out at Davis Ave.
The rolling hills, rivers and valleys of the Eau Claire area are the defining features of the city. Because Eau Claire is set mainly in a valley, there are many places to view the city lights at night, but few are as good and open to the public as seldom used Mount Tom city park. For a challenge, this cache is a perfect opportunity for night caching, especially during the Spring, Winter and Fall when the tree canopy doesn't obscure the view as much. Take the paved footpath to the summit, find the cache and enjoy the lights of Eau Claire!
