Today's newspaper announced that the Conejo Fliers, a club for radio controlled model airplanes, has reached an agreement with the Newbury Park Seventh Day Adventist School to allow for the building of an airport for model airplanes in this area.
You may park in either of two locations.
N 34 11. 499 W 118 56.258 (This is the parking lot for Baja Fresh in Newbury Park)
If you enter from this direction you will be entering an area that is posted "No Trespassing". The property belongs to the Newbury Park Seventh Day Adventist School. They have given us permission to geocache on their property. You may hike up the road to the cache area, but DO NOT DRIVE ANY VEHICLES UP THE ROAD. Much of the land north of the school is their property. Please obey their rule. They are doing us a favor.
N 34 11.950 W 118 55.861 This parking has you entering from the industrial center north of the caches. You will still be going on SDA property, so no driving.
Once you find the cache be sure to sit on the rocks and enjoy the views of the Western Plateau where several other caches are located.
Stay on the trails and roads. No bushwacking is required!
