I will be running a geocaching and GPS seminar at the Brillion
Nature Center on Saturday, September 24, from 10 AM to 4 PM. 10 AM
to 1 PM will be time for the experienced geocachers. It will be a
VERY informal time for the experienced folks. From 1 PM to 4 PM
will be time to teach people new to geocaching.
I am looking for some volunteers to help out and I'm also
looking for IDEAS for FUN events for the public and the 'old timer'
geocachers.
Please click on Brillion Nature Center for
more info. The event on the website reads: Saturday, September 24th
GPS Scavenger Hunt at the BNC 1 - 4 p.m. Want to learn to use a
GPS? Here's your chance. Experienced GPS users will be on site to
help teach the techniques of using GPS receivers. After
instruction, there will be scavenger hunts and other fun events.
GPS units will be available for the public to use. BNC Members
free; Non-members, adults $5, children under 16 $3. (Geocachers get
in for free.)
Please leave a note if you have a suggestion for a memorable
geocaching game.
Thanks bunch,
Daniel of CalumetDreams
