Geocache Description:

Parking available in parking lot. Cache container is a camo-taped rectangular tupperware container. Landmark Plaque is very close to the hidden cache.

Located on Big Cedar Lake, Timmer's Resort has been a tourist attraction since its acquisition in 1864. Guests came by train to Slinger (Schlesingerville) from Chicago, St. Louis, and Milwaukee and then by carriage to the lake. Later, guests came by train to the West Bend Northwestern Depot. This Washington County Landmark is located at 5151 Timmers Bay Road.

Permission granted by owner Jack Timmer to plant this geocache on his land. He will help keep on eye on it as well. Thanks Jack!
