Geocache Description:

You are looking for a camoed pill bottle with a log sheet and a pencil inside.

Located in Thatcher Woods. Enter off of Chicago Ave. Dawn to Dusk.

The coords will take you to a shelter constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

During the winter, the Cub Scout pack that I am affiliated with has an outing there 'The Klondike Derby'. The shelter is opened up and food and hot drinks are served.

This is another in a series which will include many different structures.

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was a public works program that put over three million young men and adults to work during the Great Depression of the 1930's and 1940's in the United States.

"I propose to create a Civilian Conservation Corps to be used in simple work… more important, however, than the material gains will be the moral and spiritual value of such work." Franklin D. Roosevelt March 9, 1933.
