Geocache Description:

The fourth in a series celebrating some of the more curious features of the Isle of Man.

No puzzles, codes or stages to this one. It's just a matter of going to the coordinates and finding the cache.

The container WAS a camouflaged Altoids tin ("Curiously Strong") but this turned out to be a bit too weak so it is now a small sample tube.

There's no need to move or lift anything except one small stone. It can be reached easily from the roadside (outside the churchyard), and there is parking nearby, so it should only take a few minutes. Please replace it carefully in exactly the same position.

The cache is close to the Church of St. Lupus, Malew.

Examine the curious chained grave, which is adjacent to the parking area outside the church (N.B. approach from the Castletown end to park - it's dangerous to drive across the road at the bends). Local legend has it is that of a vampire, though it's not clear where this myth originates. In any case, the chains are an unusual, if not unique, feature. Can you provide an explanation? If you have time, also visit the church itself and look at the Sigurd Cross.

The best approach from the grave is to walk through the graveyard, passing through the gate near the church entrance, then follow the path to the exit. There's no need to cross the road. The hint is a giveaway, so this should be a quick find.
