While the area is filled with wildlife: beavers, herons, ducks, seals, every kind of water and land bird, rabbits etc and while "they" keep saying they'll tidy it up, all "they" ever do is re-arrange it periodically. Sigh. If you are also here to explore, continue on south for a nice walk along the river. At some point Tannery Park and Brownsville Park to the north will connect with a shorefront trail.
This camo'd cache was originally hid June 22. 2004. The area has changed somewhat so it is re-hid in a near but different location. Vancouver Transit (GC19D6) was a "travelling cache" and one of the most popular caches ever to hit the lower mainland. Once found, the cache finder would pick up the entire cache and re-hide it in a new location, somewhere in the Greater Vancouver area. From September 2001 to August 2004, Vancouver Transit made over 150 different stops, each one lasting anywhere from a few hours to a few days before moving on to the next. Vancouver Transit is no more, but Pharmadude thought it would be great to memorialize the stops it made along the way by placing permanent caches where the TRANSIenTones once lay.
