Geocache Description:

This cache is placed near the Michael J Colligan Lodge. The Hamilton Community Foundation for Hamilton City Parks recently restored this lodge which was built in the 1930s as an American Legion Lodge, to its natural beauty.

Welcome to Butler County, a friendly place to visit with a variety of rural, suburban and small city neighborhoods, parks, historical sites and outdoor art to enjoy as you search for the geocaches. Butler County borders I-75 midway between Dayton and Cincinnati and extends to the Indiana border to the west. The 11 caches are hidden in places that are also on the Butler County Highlight Tour found at (visit link) The series of 11 caches is courtesy of the Butler County Tourism Council, a volunteer group promoting economic development in Butler County through tourism.
