Geocache Description:

NOTE: August 20, 2019 - Due to significant storm damage to this woodlot in July creating hazardous conditions, this cache has been moved. Same general area, but safer.

I enjoy GeoCaching because it combines two of my favorite pastimes – the outdoors and computers. Therefore, this is a theme cache dedicated to all the computer nuts in GeoLand. It was originally stocked with lots of nice computer goodies, and your trading goods related to computers and networks will be appreciated, although not absolutely required. It will be periodically restocked with more computer stuff, some of it good working functional hardware and software, some not.

The cache container is large, and will hold quite a bit. It has been painted flat black to help concealment, but the GeoCaching logo is prominent from the right angle.

The cache is situated in a small wooded area, which is posted with ‘No Trespassing’ signs. However, the property owner has granted permission for the cache, and the nearest neighbors have been informed. Some online mapping tools and apps will try to bring you in from the northeast side of the lake, down a private driveway. DO NOT USE THIS ROUTE! It is an easy walk straight in from Virginia Drive, on the northwest side of the lake. It is accessible year-round.
