Looking for the basics? What is Geocacing all about? How does a GPSr work and how can I use it? Then this just might be the class for you!!
Saturday, February 4, 2006 from 9:00 - 11:00
Geocaching was presented at Woodland Dunes Nature Center in October 2005, at their yearly OwlFest. There was various amounts of interest in the sport as well as how to use that GPSr they got for a gift a couple years ago. So.....we decided this was a great opportunity to show people what fun things they can do with the GPSr while teaching them how to use one in general.
This is for the beginner, but those of you who are more advanced, are welcome to attend. I am not sure if I will be having temp caches out, but I do have 7 active caches on the Dunes property.
There is a nominal fee of $3.00 per person for Woodland Dunes Nature Center members and non-mombers. A Hot beverage and snack will be provided. You are welcome to sign up via this cache page, otherwise you can call Woodland Dunes and pre-registar at 920-793-4007
**********THANK YOU MY FELLOW CACHERS***********
Successful class and event with 45+ people. only 7 of which are veteren cachers, about 4 newbies and the rest all brand new to the idea. I could not have done it without the help of my cacher friends!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!
