You will find parking for this cache off of route 45. Turn onto,
and go up Shingletown Road. The following coordinates will be at
parking area. N 40 45.234 W 077 49.085 The terrain has been set at
a 3.5 although this rating could go up depending on the trails you
choose or time of year.
From the parking lot you will head up past the Shingletown
reservoir. Continue a short distance (2-3 minutes)along the marked
trail with the stream on your right. You will notice a small
waterfall coming down at this point. Cross the stream and prepare
for a steep uphill climb towards the cache location. Please expect
that your feet may get wet due to the various stream crossings you
will find. GPS reception can be very spotty depending on the amount
of canopy cover. Please be aware of the other trails that break off
and could lead you in the wrong direction. You will need to bring a
compass with you on this trip. The cache container is an ammo can.
Please return it to its hiding place when you have finished. THE
HINTS WILL BE NEEDED FOR THIS OFFSET.
