Geocache Description:

Bring your hiking boots! This cache, along the North Country National Scenic Trail, requires a hike of over a half mile and the terrain can have some rocky and steep up and down areas. This leg is part of a 200 mile section of the NCT that stretches across the Chequamegon National Forest in Northern Wisconsin.

The cache itself is an ammo can and is loaded with traditional goodies. Located at the Juniper Rock Overlook, the view provides a vast panorama of the Marengo River valley and the rocky peaks across. Pack a lunch, kick back and enjoy a stunning vista!

Please park at the designated NCT parking area along Forest Road 202 near Grand View. Also, while you're here, check out the cache just a little further down the trail at the Swedish Settlement!
