greyhounder: Looks like mostly everyone has logged this one, so I'm going to archive it now. Thanks again to everyone who attended & I hope you had a good time.

I was also supposed to publish my recipe for BBQ (in mass quantity):
cook:
8 medium sized onions
1 bunch celery
add and brown:
8 pounds ground beef
Then add:
i bottle ketchup
7 0z. pickle relish
3 cans tomato sauce
1 can tomato soup

This is supposed to serve 100.

Tried to get Mom's baked bean recipe too, but there isn't really one. She just added this and that, along with bacon and beans.

Geocache Description:

No fooling! This is an actual geocaching event! April 1 has always been a great day for me & now I want to share it with you!

Ready for a fun-filled day in Fort Atkinson? This event offers something for just about everyone! The event itself is held at one of Fort Atkinson's many historic homes (outdoors in nice weather, inside if bad).

If you like virtual geocaches -- I've got something for you! Those interested can take a tour of some of the interesting historical locations, and maybe learn a thing or two. You may do this at your leisure, or if you choose, you may participate in the geocaching scavenger hunt contest (prizes will be awarded!) These may also be logged as finds if you choose.

Also, there will be a few new, permanent geocaches placed around Fort Atkinson for the event. Coordinates will be available at the event.

Or you may choose just to take it easy. Plenty of socializing and sharing of our geocaching adventures is sure to take place.

There will be an eating portion of the event as well. I will provide the main dish and some beverages (plates, silverware & the like too). Please bring along something to share. Let me know what you're bringing and I will assemble a list. Bring along a chair in case we are outside. I've got some, but depending on the turnout -- I might not have enough.

This event is scheduled to take place between the hours of 10:00 A.M and 3:00 P.M. (or thereabouts). Parking is available on the street, or if you don't mind a little walk, there is a parking lot at: N42 55.469 W088 49.945

More details to come as we get closer! Please post you intent to attend by March 30, so I can ensure I've got enough "stuff" for everyone!
