Quick cache and dash while passing through the town of Wausau...bring a pen.
Use stealth...look like a tourist!
Cache is located in the possum capital of the world. The Wausau Possum Festival and Fun day is held the first Saturday in August every year. The Possum King and Queen contests are held the night before. The parade is on Saturday morning. Plenty of live music, booths, and a live possum auction at the Possum Palace.
Taste like chicken? We've never tried it, but there really is possum stew and ice cream to eat.
