Geocache Description:

Located on private property - come in from the road north of the cache

Once you pass Firefighter Lane you are almost there. There's just two large and one small posts till you're outstanding in your (my) field, then just a quarter of a century more and you're there. Don't worry about the Beware of Dog signs - they're only there because the dogs follow people back to town - they're harmless. While you're walking to this cache you may feel the urge to sing a polka when you see a white one. A tornado on April 29, 1942 passed just across the creek, killing 5 people in a farm home there. Altogether 15 people were killed in Decatur County in the storm. The tornado was reported to be 300 yards wide and went for 20 miles. It ranks as one of the most deadly in Kansas history.
