How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
This is a small cache located in one of College Station's great parks.
This multi-cache is actually a regular cache plus what could be referred to as a virtual cache. The first coordinates will lead you to a small container with a log and a few small items. Bring your own pen. After you have logged your visit and returned the cache to its hiding space, make your way to the following coordinates.
When you arrive at these coordinates, you’ll find yourself standing in front of an important piece of steel. This structure is an I-beam from one of the World Trade Center Twin Towers. In recognition for their help in the aftermath of the September 11th tragedy, the beam was given by the city of New York to members of Texas Task Force 1 (an emergency rescue team based in College Station). This I-beam is now part of a memorial located in College Station's Veterans Park.
Where were you the day the towers fell?
