Geocache Description:

I adopted this cache from CachingFam he lived to far away to maintain it anymore. name changed, few updates, this will be started fresh and new. Please place back as found or better.

WHITE LADY OF POND BANK (Pond Bank, Franklin County) A young mother drowned herself and her child here in the early 1900s according to legend. THE white lady comes back looking for her baby at night .It's said that you can see her glowing white form roaming the area to this day searching for her child. One story claims that in 2002, she stepped in front of a car, causing an accident. The cops that came to investigate didn't buy the explanation, except for one. He said the same thing happened to him in 1993. This area is a public day use area and not part of the near-by state parks/forest so no need to fear as you search.....relax and enjoy This area gets a lot of use, as you will be able to tell when you arrive, so use as much stealth as possible. This would be a fantastic area for a little CITO so feel free to participate. Hopefully the trash cans won't be full to overflowing.
