A nice easy drive-by cache, but it's a long drive to here on gravel road.
To access this cache you will need to drive out past Cowichan Lake to the Nitinat Lake (it's actually the ocean in an inlet)area. At the head of Nitinat Lake is a small first nations village with a store and a gas pump. (store co-ords are N48*48.570 W124*40.190) Find Rosander Rd (starts at N48*47.932 W124*38.400) and follow it until you get to the co-ords. The road is pretty good, you could do this one with an ordinary car, though a pickup or SUV would be better. There may also be other ways to get there, I am just telling the way I got there. Look for my other cache called "Rosander Pond" GCWCN8 just a few more km's along the road.
